Ain't that a P.I.P.?

Dear Sports TV Directors:

Unless a former All-Pro running back is attempting a slow-speed vehicular Houdini from Johnny Law, or a player heading for the locker room is in obvious need of an exorcist, DO NOT SHRINK DOWN LIVE ACTION to add more images to the screen.

In Game 3 of the NBA Finals, while the game was in full swing, it was mini-sized so we could enjoy breaking coverage of Rajon Rondo slowly walking down a corridor of the Staples Center. Be still my throbbing temple. NO!

Bells and whistles are fine, as long as they are in addition to, not in place of, the actual game.

Signed,
Every Fan in the World
