Not since Inconvenient Truthifier Al Gore mishandled the "Bill Clinton Shadow" so horribly in the 2000 presidential campaign-- refusing to either:
a.) castigate his old boss for his infidelities and prevarication
or
b.) consistently laud him for his accomplishments
has a prospective "leader" been such a ridiculous equivocator as Owners Commissioner Bud Selig.
Failing to show up in San Francisco for Bonds' record-breaking achievement was the equivalent of a Boy Scout troop leader not giving a merit badge to a bully in his troop who'd earned it, even though he maybe should've been kicked out.
